Russia Releases Evidence of Attack on Putin’s Residence Amid Ukrainian Denials
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia has released evidence of what it describes as a coordinated Ukrainian drone attack targeting President Vladimir Putin’s residence. The Russian Defense Ministry published footage showing the interception of multiple drones near Putin’s Novgorod estate, with officials claiming Kyiv launched a “targeted, precisely planned, and multi-stage” assault.
Ministry statements indicate Ukrainian forces attempted to strike the presidential residence from several directions simultaneously during the night of December 28. Russian air defenses reportedly intercepted 91 drones across the Bryansk, Smolensk, and Novgorod regions, with no damage reported to Putin’s compound.
The release comes amid continued denials from Ukrainian authorities and their European allies regarding involvement in the incident. Russian military officials maintain the attack demonstrates Ukraine’s willingness to target civilian leadership locations, while Kyiv has not officially commented on the specific allegations.
