Cuba and Colombia Condemn US Attacks on Venezuela

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel has condemned the recent US attack on Venezuela, labeling it as criminal and demanding an immediate response from the international community. In a statement posted on X, Díaz-Canel emphasized that the peace of Latin America has been brutally violated.
Meanwhile, Colombian President Gustavo Petro expressed deep concern over reports of explosions and unusual aerial movements in Venezuela. He reiterated Colombia’s commitment to the UN Charter, respect for territorial integrity, and opposition to any unilateral military actions that endanger civilians or escalate tensions.
Petro called for urgent de-escalation and urged all parties to refrain from actions that could worsen the conflict, advocating instead for dialogue and diplomatic solutions. He also confirmed that Colombia has taken necessary security measures along its border with Venezuela and prepared for potential humanitarian needs arising from migration.
Additionally, Petro directed Colombia’s Foreign Ministry to consult with other nations to address the crisis.
