Israel Opens Rafah Crossing for Two-Way Movement Amid Ongoing Gaza Conflict

Israel has initiated two-way movement at the Rafah crossing, allowing limited daily transit for Palestinians, while continuing airstrikes in Gaza despite a ceasefire agreement.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israel has commenced two-way movement at the Rafah crossing, permitting the daily exit of 150 Gaza residents and the entry of 50 Palestinians from Egypt. The Israeli regime has described this measure as “regular transit,” though over 20,000 Gazans remain in need of urgent medical evacuation.

Egyptian authorities review a daily list of 50 individuals seeking entry into Gaza, granting approval after security checks. Meanwhile, European officials submit a separate list of 150 individuals requesting exit from Gaza. Despite a signed ceasefire, Israel continues airstrikes across Gaza, with Ali Shaath, head of the Gaza Management Committee, condemning the recent civilian casualties and urging the occupying regime to adhere to the truce.
