Egypt and UAE Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Developments and Strengthen Bilateral Ties

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met to discuss regional developments and reinforce the partnership framework between Cairo and Abu Dhabi. The ministers highlighted the depth of bilateral relations and the need to strengthen cooperation.
During the meeting, both sides addressed the situation in Gaza, stressing the importance of implementing the commitments outlined in the second phase of the U.S. President’s plan and supporting the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza. They also emphasized accelerating the deployment of international stabilization forces to oversee the ceasefire and ensure unimpeded humanitarian aid delivery to the Gaza Strip.
The foreign ministers also discussed other regional issues of mutual concern, including ongoing efforts to stabilize Sudan and improve the humanitarian situation. Abdelatty underscored the importance of preserving Sudan’s unity and territorial integrity.
Regarding Iran’s nuclear dossier, the Egyptian Foreign Minister reiterated the significance of diplomatic solutions and creating a conducive environment for the resumption of U.S.-Iran negotiations. He stated that a comprehensive and balanced agreement should address the interests and concerns of all parties while enhancing regional and international security and stability.
Abdelatty concluded by emphasizing the importance of continued coordination and consultation among Arab countries as the best approach to addressing current challenges.
