Iran Outlines Military Tactics for Potential Conflict with the US

A senior Iranian lawmaker has dismissed the immediate likelihood of war with the US, stating that American naval presence in the Persian Gulf is a political and psychological pressure tactic rather than a prelude to military confrontation.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, has analyzed the potential for conflict between Iran and the US. Citing data from ABNA and footage from Fars News Agency, Boroujerdi emphasized that the presence of US aircraft carriers in the Persian Gulf does not indicate an imminent war.

Boroujerdi argued that if the US intended to wage war, it would not position its carriers within range of Iranian missiles, given their strategic and national significance. He described the US naval presence as a means of exerting political, psychological, and military pressure rather than a direct threat of war. The lawmaker stressed that the US would need to withdraw its vessels from the region if it sought actual conflict.

In his assessment, Boroujerdi concluded that war is not an immediate option under current regional conditions. When questioned about the possibility of an agreement between Iran and the US, he responded cautiously, stating that the situation remains uncertain.
