Hamas Delegation Meets Iran’s Larijani in Doha, Emphasizing Resistance and Palestinian Support

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas confirmed that Mohammed Darwish, Chairman of the movement’s Consultative Council, headed a delegation of Hamas leaders who met and held discussions with Ali Larijani, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, in Doha.
During the meeting, Mohammed Darwish provided an update on the field and humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip and criticized the Zionist regime for obstructing the implementation of ceasefire agreement clauses. He stressed Hamas’s adherence to implementing the agreements to prevent a return to conflict, asserting that the resistance remains committed to its national and moral responsibilities in defending the people, lifting the siege, and ensuring the delivery of relief aid to Gaza.
The Chairman of the Hamas Consultative Council also pointed to the escalating tensions in occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank, labeling the recent resolution by the Zionist regime’s Knesset to annex parts of the West Bank as a dangerous step against the established rights of Palestinians. Darwish emphasized Hamas’s complete solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, stating that any aggression against Iranian territory or other regional countries would jeopardize the security and stability of the entire region.
For his part, Ali Larijani briefed the Hamas delegation on the latest internal developments within Iran and the trajectory of ongoing negotiations with international counterparts, reaffirming Tehran’s unwavering position in supporting the Palestinian cause. Praising the steadfastness and sacrifices of the Palestinian nation in the face of existing challenges, Larijani noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue its backing for Palestinian struggles across all arenas and forums.
The meeting was also attended by several prominent Hamas leaders, including Khaled Mashal, Nizar Awadallah, Hussam Badran, Sami Khater, and Bassem Naim.
