Iraqi MP Warns of Security Threat from Thousands of ISIS Families Fleeing Syrian Camp

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a significant security concern has been raised by the escape of a large number of ISIS family members and operatives from the Al-Hol camp in Syria, as emphasized by Mukhtar Al-Musawi, a Member of Parliament in Iraq. He stressed the imperative for maximum security preparedness in response to this development.
Al-Musawi stated that widespread unrest within Syrian provinces is facilitating the movement of these terrorist elements towards Iraqi territory. Alarming reports indicate that approximately 15,000 individuals, including prominent commanders of the Daesh terrorist organization, have managed to flee the camp.
The Iraqi MP further noted that these individuals may attempt to infiltrate Iraq through the extensive border region shared by the two countries. He underscored the critical need to maintain intelligence and military readiness to intercept any attempts by these elements to enter Iraq. Al-Musawi also pointed out that certain international parties appear reluctant to reach a definitive resolution regarding the Al-Hol camp situation.
