US National Debt Surges Over $406 Billion Following Aggression Against Iran

The national debt of the United States has escalated by more than $406.5 billion since the commencement of Washington and the Zionist regime’s illegal aggression against Iran, according to data from the U.S. Treasury.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the national debt of the United States has increased by over $406.5 billion since the beginning of Washington and the Zionist regime’s illegal aggression against Iran. Data published by the U.S. Treasury shows that the nation’s debt rose from $38.77 trillion on February 27th, one day before the aggression against Tehran began, to $39.18 trillion as of May 30th. RIA Novosti reported that this assessment also indicates the U.S. government has not yet released comprehensive details regarding the actual cost of operations against Iran and their impact on the country’s public debt. The New York Times recently reported that the crisis of U.S. debt exceeding its economic size has evolved beyond a purely financial issue into a normalized psychological and political crisis, compounded by budget deficits and chronic debt. Advocates for deficit reduction have strived in recent years to find methods to shock politicians and the public into taking the growing federal debt seriously.
