Dozens of Ships Coordinate Passage Through Strait of Hormuz With Iran

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom, citing political and intelligence sources, reported that dozens of oil tankers and liquefied gas carriers passed through the Strait of Hormuz last week after receiving permits from Iran and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The report indicated that these ships navigated the strait after coordinating with Iran and paying transit fees. The majority of the oil tankers were bound for China and India, while vessels carrying liquefied gas departed from Qatar for European markets.
The cited sources further added that Qatar has provided payment to Iran for the passage of its ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
Earlier, the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya issued a statement asserting that the management of the Strait of Hormuz is fully enforced by the armed forces, warning that any violation of these regulations would seriously jeopardize the security of their transit. The headquarters emphasized that due to the integrated nature of this waterway, all ships, commercial vessels, and oil tankers are strictly required to adhere to designated routes and obtain authorization from the IRGC’s naval forces.
