According to the news agency “Anatolia”, Dmitry Peskov stated in a press conference: We have said many times, and I will repeat it again, that North Korea is our very important partner and we aim to develop relations in all areas, including sensitive areas. justify;”>These words were expressed a day after North Korean Foreign Minister Cho Sun-hui held talks with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. Moscow has increased its relations with North Korea since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war.
The United States and its allies accused Russia in the past days. which uses its role as a permanent member of the UN Security Council to protect itself from the consequences of North Korea’s use of missiles and violations of several resolutions.
Pskov said about Putin’s meeting with Choe that the main emphasis of the conversation was on the development of bilateral relations. Peskov also said that the situation on the Korean Peninsula was reviewed, and at the same time, views were exchanged on the most important international issues.
Choe also met with Lavrov and then stated that frequent talks between Pyongyang and Moscow are further evidence that bilateral relations are moving forward.
Kremlin spokesman stated about Putin’s visit to North Korea: “Moscow hopes that this visit will take place in the foreseeable future and the dates will be agreed through diplomatic channels.”
