Israeli Army Prepares Troop Drawdown in Southern Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli army is making preparations to reduce its forces in southern Lebanon, a move that comes after the destruction of tunnels in the Al-Taher area. This information was released by the Israeli Radio and Television Authority, citing several security sources and reported by Al Jazeera.

Discussions are underway within the Israeli military regarding the establishment of a new security zone in southern Lebanon, situated closer to Israel’s borders. Security sources indicated that the Israeli army plans to withdraw and reposition its forces approximately 3 to 4 kilometers deep within Lebanese territory, nearer to the borders of occupied Palestine.

The Israeli Radio and Television Authority further reported that the troop redeployment plan is codenamed “Gray Line.” Within this designated area, operational points are slated to be established to facilitate military activities.
