Russia-North Korea Relations at Unprecedented Peak, Prime Minister Says

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency, citing TASS, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Monday that Moscow and Pyongyang’s relations have reached their “most unprecedented level,” with the two countries cooperating in almost all areas.

Mishustin and Pak Thae-song, the Prime Minister of North Korea, inaugurated a new road bridge over the Tumen River on the border of the two countries in a ceremony held via video conference.

Mishustin stated at the ceremony: Russia and North Korea’s relations are currently at the highest level of comprehensive strategic partnership, and the two countries, while extensively cooperating in various fields, are coordinating their efforts to ensure regional security and stability.

He emphasized: The friendly relations, good neighborliness, and mutual assistance between the peoples of the two countries are not dependent on external conditions and have repeatedly demonstrated their strength in practice.

The Russian Prime Minister added: We will continue to do everything necessary for the comprehensive development of these relations.
