Former Israeli Security Chief to Sue Netanyahu Over ‘Al-Aqsa Storm’ Failures

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ronen Bar, the former head of the Israeli General Security Service (Shin Bet), has declared his intention to sue Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Bar stated his decision stems from Netanyahu’s efforts to assign him responsibility for Israel’s security shortcomings during the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation.

Bar emphasized that Netanyahu has initiated intense personal attacks against him and has refused to accept accountability for his own failures over the past three years. He further asserted that the Prime Minister is actively preventing the establishment of an official fact-finding committee by Tel Aviv.

The former Shin Bet chief added that the warnings previously issued to Netanyahu ahead of the operation are now becoming increasingly apparent. These were warnings, he claimed, that the Israeli Prime Minister neglected to heed.
