UN Voices Concern Over Escalating Military Tensions Between Yemen and Saudi Arabia

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the United Nations has expressed deep concern regarding the escalating military tensions between Yemen and Saudi Arabia. Stéphane Dujarric, speaking at a press conference in New York on Tuesday, highlighted the devastating humanitarian implications of the ongoing clashes, particularly in the Taiz province. He underscored that there is no viable military resolution to this protracted conflict.

Furthermore, Dujarric condemned the drone attacks targeting civilian vessels in the Black Sea. He also drew attention to the current crises unfolding in the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea. The UN official cautioned that the continuation of such incidents not only endangers the lives of seafarers but also poses a significant threat to global supply chains and could lead to detrimental impacts on food prices worldwide.
