Yemen Missile Strikes Hit Riyadh, Injuring Four

Saudi Arabian Civil Defense reported that remnants of cruise missiles launched by Yemeni armed forces struck areas in Riyadh following their interception, resulting in injuries and damage to residential properties. The attacks are presented as retaliation for years of blockade and aggression by the Saudi-led coalition.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Saudi Arabian Civil Defense announced that debris from cruise missiles fired by Yemeni armed forces impacted areas in Riyadh after being intercepted. The official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) released the data.

These attacks, framed as a response to years of blockade and aggression by the Saudi-led coalition, led to the injury of four individuals and caused damage to 15 residential homes. Previously, Arab media had reported hearing loud explosions in the north of Riyadh, near Aramco facilities in Dhahran, King Khalid Airport, and the Riyadh oil refinery.

These retaliatory operations are occurring while the Saudi regime, in conjunction with the United States, has imposed a devastating war and comprehensive blockade on the Yemeni people since 2015. The Yemeni army and popular committees have delivered powerful responses to the aggressor coalition following their decision to break this unjust blockade and establish their authority in the strategic Bab al-Mandab Strait and southern regions.
