NATO Confirms Continued Intelligence Sharing Between US and Ukraine

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has confirmed that intelligence sharing between the United States and Ukraine remains ongoing, refuting recent speculation. The alliance also called for increased support for Kyiv as winter approaches and Russian attacks continue.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated on Wednesday that intelligence exchanges between the United States and Ukraine have not ceased. Stoltenberg made these remarks during a joint press conference with Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas in Tallinn.

Stoltenberg referenced statements made by U.S. President Donald Trump, who explicitly confirmed the continuation of intelligence sharing with Ukraine as he departed the White House for an election event. This affirmation addresses concerns that had arisen regarding the flow of information.

Addressing the ongoing Russian offensive and the approaching winter season, Stoltenberg urged NATO member states to bolster their support for Ukraine, with a particular emphasis on air defense capabilities. He highlighted NATO’s readiness to counter hybrid and cyber threats posed by Russia.

The Secretary General also stated that NATO currently does not perceive any imminent threats to the alliance’s territory. He reiterated that NATO is inherently defensive in nature and harbors no intentions of attacking any nation.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky previously announced that Kyiv had once again received no warnings from its Western partners regarding ballistic missile launches overnight. In a Telegram message, Zelensky noted that this was the second instance where Ukraine had not received such warnings.
