Aramco Headquarters in Dhahran Suffers Severe Damage in Attack

The central headquarters of Saudi Aramco in Dhahran, eastern Saudi Arabia, sustained significant damage following an attack on Tuesday, with sources reporting extensive fires engulfing multiple floors. This incident follows claims by Yemen’s armed forces of targeting Aramco facilities with ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, sources familiar with the matter have informed Reuters that the central headquarters of Saudi Aramco in the city of Dhahran, located in eastern Saudi Arabia, was severely damaged as a result of an attack on Tuesday. According to these sources, a fire resulting from the attack has spread across several floors of the building.

This report emerges after the Saudi Ministry of Energy announced on Wednesday morning that a limited fire had occurred in one of Aramco’s administrative buildings, stating that the incident had resulted in no casualties.

The armed forces of Yemen had previously declared that in an operation utilizing ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones, they had targeted Saudi Aramco in Dhahran, King Khalid International Airport, and the Aramco refinery in Riyadh. These forces asserted that the attacks accurately hit their intended targets, causing damage and fires.

The Yemeni armed forces also issued warnings to employees and citizens in the vicinity of Aramco’s oil facilities, urging them to evacuate these areas.
