Kremlin: Ukraine’s Attacks on Russia Contradict U.S. Peace Efforts

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Kremlin announced on Thursday that there is currently no information regarding a potential visit by U.S. Presidential envoys Vitkaff and Kushner to Moscow. Russia remains committed to engaging with international sports organizations to safeguard the interests of its athletes, asserting that discriminatory actions against Russian sports figures are fundamentally at odds with Olympic principles. President Putin is scheduled to participate in the “Russia Business” conference today via the Kremlin Crisis Management Center.
Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian Presidential Administration, further elaborated that Kyiv’s persistent attacks on Russian energy infrastructure are inconsistent with U.S. endeavors to establish peace. He noted that global energy markets are under significant pressure due to various factors, including challenges in exporting Russian oil. The resumption of Kyiv’s strikes on Russian oil refineries, Peskov stated, places Ukraine in a serious confrontation with Washington’s peace initiatives.
The Kremlin also highlighted that Russian diesel fuel has reached global markets, contributing to a tangible and positive impact on oil market stability. The stance of European countries regarding a diesel fuel agreement between Russia and the United States, the Kremlin suggested, is counterproductive. European criticism of the Russia-U.S. diesel fuel accord, according to the Kremlin, demonstrates Europe’s involvement in the dispute. The source indicated that revealing the names of other countries interested in purchasing diesel fuel from Russia might not be advisable at this juncture.
