Israeli Military Intensifies Artillery Shelling and Residential Demolitions Across Southern Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, …
Military operations and residential shelling across southern Lebanon persist unabated, with recent media reports highlighting relentless bombardments by the Israeli army that have resulted in the destruction and burning of numerous homes.
On Friday, October 30, 2026, Israeli military forces carried out a controlled detonation operation inside the town of Al-Tayri, located within the Bint Jbeil district. Concurrently, Israeli artillery targeted the Wadi al-Hujair area near the town of Touline, while the outskirts of Kfarchouba, Hadatha in Bint Jbeil, and Wadi Zibqine in the Tyre district also faced heavy bombardment.
The National News Agency of Lebanon reported intermittent artillery shelling by Israeli forces targeting the area situated between the towns of Mifdoun and Zoutar al-Sharqiyyeh. In addition to torching several houses in the town of Al-Qantara, Israeli troops conducted patrols and opened fire with heavy weaponry in the area.
Overnight, a residential home belonging to a local resident in Kfarchouba, situated along the Kfarchouba-Chebaa road, was completely demolished. No official reports regarding potential casualties resulting from these latest strikes have been released so far.
According to available data, the Israeli regime launched extensive military offensives against Lebanon on March 2, 2026, causing heavy casualties and displacing more than one million people. These ongoing attacks continue despite a framework agreement brokered by the United States intended to halt the aggression. The agreement has faced significant criticism over ambiguities in its implementation mechanism, the status of occupied areas, and the lack of a clear timetable for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the region.
