Hezbollah Vows Defiance Against US Dictation and Judicial Interference in Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, senior leaders of Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement have firmly rejected any external intervention in the nation’s internal and judicial matters, describing recent pressures as a deliberate plot to create sedition. Ibrahim al-Musawi, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc in the Lebanese parliament, emphasized that historical precedents demonstrate how advanced military technology and might do not automatically guarantee definitive victory.
Highlighting the ongoing conflict in Gaza and Washington’s extensive military backing for Israel—including the deployment of naval fleets, the establishment of an aerial bridge, and the delivery of advanced weaponry—al-Musawi noted that these measures have only exposed the strategic deadlock facing the enemy in both Palestine and Lebanon. He attributed this impasse directly to the steadfastness, resilience, and sacrifices of the populace.
Describing the resistance as an integral pillar of Lebanese society and the state, al-Musawi underscored that the personnel and officers of the Lebanese Armed Forces are kindred spirits of the homeland. He reaffirmed the enduring formula of the army, people, and resistance as the most effective framework for the nation’s past, present, and future. Furthermore, he noted that patriotic forces supporting the resistance span across all sects and regions, forming a massive societal bloc that will never submit to Israeli occupation.
The Lebanese lawmaker strongly criticized judicial prosecutions targeting individuals who transported weaponry to safeguard national sovereignty and dignity, branding such legal rulings as disgraceful and arguing that these defenders deserve commendation rather than trial. Echoing these sentiments, Hussein al-Hajj Hassan, another senior Hezbollah figure and a member of the Baalbek-Hermel parliamentary bloc, stated that certain domestic political factions seek to provoke tensions merely to prove their loyalty to foreign entities, whereas the core objective of the resistance remains the preservation of internal stability and peace.
Addressing the seizure of explosives at the Zahle-Dahr al-Bidar checkpoint, al-Hajj Hassan confirmed that the materials belonged to the resistance, an entity dedicated to confronting Zionist aggressions against national security and infrastructure. He denounced the silence of state officials regarding Israeli atrocities, pointing out that terrorist occupation forces have systematically demolished nearly 60 Lebanese villages using explosives transported via military trucks, with no formal complaints lodged in international forums against such destruction.
Concluding his remarks, the Hezbollah official denounced Washington’s overt meddling in Lebanon’s judicial processes as contrary to national interests and designed to manufacture crises. He stressed that broader regional American agendas, anchored by the Abraham Accords and normalization schemes with the Zionist enemy, are bound to fail in the face of unwavering regional resistance.
