Yemeni military forces have successfully blocked and defeated an attempted advance by Saudi-backed elements toward the strategic Bab el-Mandeb axis, according to a local military source. The operation resulted in significant losses for the attacking faction, with numerous casualties reported—including several Saudi nationals killed or wounded during the intense clashes.

The military source emphasized that these continuous operational failures have triggered deep internal fractures among the allied ranks. Despite the mounting losses, Saudi officers reportedly persist in driving further military maneuvers, prioritizing territorial advancement over human toll regardless of the thousands of casualties sustained by their subordinate forces.
