Ukrainian President Visits Berlin as German Chancellor Outlines Upcoming Talks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has officially announced the upcoming visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Berlin on Tuesday.

Speaking at an economic conference in the German capital, Merz referenced Zelenskyy’s previous visit to the White House last year, noting, “He will be by my side shortly after noon, and this time the circumstances will be somewhat different.”

Traditionally, diplomatic visits by the Ukrainian leader to Germany are kept strictly confidential until the final moments and are executed under exceptionally rigorous security protocols.

Berlin currently stands as Kyiv’s foremost European supporter in the ongoing conflict that erupted in February 2022.
