Investigative Report Exposes Israeli-Linked Entities Fueling Global Islamophobic Disinformation Campaign

A recent investigative report by the National newspaper reveals that entities based in the occupied territories are connected to a massive global network spreading racist and anti-Islamic disinformation across more than 30 countries.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a comprehensive three-year investigation titled the ‘Great Replacement Industry’ has uncovered a vast digital network operating between October 2023 and October 2026. The multi-million-pound operation has targeted over 30 nations, accumulating more than 800 million views through coordinated propaganda efforts designed to incite anti-Islamic sentiment.

Sohan D’Souza, a lead researcher on the project, stated that existing documentation points directly to entities stationed in Israel and their connections to state-backed influence operations. According to the researcher’s findings, a significant portion of this network’s proxy activities shifted to Brazil in 2026, managed through newly registered corporate entities in the region.

The campaign heavily promotes the far-right ‘Great Replacement’ conspiracy theory, falsely claiming that European populations are being systematically replaced by non-white immigrants, specifically targeting Muslims. Investigators highlighted that the operation relies on advanced artificial intelligence-generated audio and visuals, gaming-style videos, and manipulated footage of migration flows and protests to maximize its societal impact.

Furthermore, the propaganda specifically targets Qatar, accusing Doha of orchestrating migration trends and attempting the ‘Islamization of the West.’ Utilizing slogans such as ‘Save Europe, Stop Qatar,’ the campaign aims to fuel anti-immigrant and anti-Islamic sentiment across digital platforms. Researchers successfully identified 1,473 targeted advertisements on Facebook, 189 videos on YouTube, and 359 promotional posts on TikTok linked directly to this network.

While platform moderation led YouTube to terminate four out of fifteen associated channels last month, new channels promptly resumed operations by October 26. Additionally, an evaluation of 406 user comments under targeted advertisements deployed in the United Kingdom throughout 2024 revealed that 61 percent actively supported Islamophobic ideologies.
