Lavrov condemned the suspension of aid to UNRWA

According to Fars International News Agency, the Russian Foreign Minister on Tuesday condemned the decision of a number of Western countries to stop financial aid to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees in the Gaza Strip.

Laurov described the Israeli war against the Gaza Strip as “mass punishment” of the Palestinians and said: “These [actions] are prohibited under international humanitarian law.”
