According to the foreign policy group Tasnim news agency, Ali Bagheri, political deputy minister of foreign affairs, who traveled to Tashkent, met with Ruslan Mirzayev, director of the executive committee of the regional anti-terrorism structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in this city.
Bagheri considered Iran’s membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as an indication of Tehran’s will for collective cooperation within the framework of multilateralism. It is about establishing peace in the world, the only human way is multilateralism, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization has proven its efficiency in the field of countering terrorism.
Bagheri considered the division of terrorism into good and bad by America based on America’s interests as a cause of insecurity in the world.
Ruslan Mirzayev considered the three sinister phenomena of terrorism, extremism and separatism to be the greatest threat to the world.
Mirzayev said: He considered the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to be the only organization that It fights terrorism in an operational manner.
He valued Iran’s experience in fighting this scourge and emphasized the importance of exchange of views and cooperation.
