Balkhi statements of the two sides also exchanged views on the recent diplomatic developments in Afghanistan.
The head of the office of the UN Deputy Mission in Afghanistan also requested the participation of a delegation from the Kabul government in the Doha meeting.
Earlier, Maulvi Abdul Kabir, political deputy of the Taliban government, said that Afghanistan was invited to attend the Doha meeting.
