According to the foreign policy group Tasnim news agency, Ali Akbar Ahmadian, the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with the Prime Minister of Iraq, Mohammad Shia al-Sudani, as part of his visits to Iraq.

Al-Sudani said: Iraq continues to make extensive efforts to maintain stability and achieve peace in line with the common interests of the nations of the region.
