According to Webangah News quoted by Tasnim News agency, Abdullah Bouhabib, the foreign minister of the interim government of Lebanon, after Returning from New York, he announced in a speech that the discussions we had at the United Nations were focused on 2 basic issues: finding a solution for Gaza as a prelude to solving the Palestinian issue that can contribute to the security and stability of Lebanon, and also the humanitarian issue in Gaza. which should be taken into consideration.
Bohabib added, we said now is the time for Israel to end its 75 years of war; A war that has no result other than killing children and making them helpless.
Foreign Minister of the government of Lebanon, Taishnat said about the West’s requests for Hezbollah’s retreat to the north of the Litani River, that this request is rejected by Lebanon and we will never find solutions. We do not accept a half-work that does not guarantee stability and security. We emphasize the full and comprehensive implementation of international resolution 1701. Abdullah Bouhabib stated that we are in constant dialogue and communication with Hezbollah and there is no difference between us and we all want the full implementation of resolution 1701. to be Lebanon also insists on the freedom of all its areas that are occupied by Israel, including the fields of Sheba and the hills of Kafr Shuba.
He continued, some Western foreign ministers said that Israel is unwilling to withdraw from the Lebanese areas it does not occupy, and our answer was that we accept the only complete solution for the issue of borders with occupied Palestine; Because half-measures do not work and all Israeli air, land and sea aggressions against Lebanon’s sovereignty must be stopped.
This Lebanese official stated that what Israel is looking for is the return of its settlers to the occupied northern part of Palestine. Is. Israel knows that the war against Lebanon will never be a “picnic”. Hezbollah has enough field experience and has already fought with Israel many times and is ready for a new war against it. But everyone knows that such a war will lead to a regional war, and international parties cannot remain silent about it.
