The Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Africa chanted the slogan "Free Palestine from the river to the sea (Mediterranean Sea)" and emphasized the support for the residents of the Gaza Strip and demanded the issuance of an arrest warrant for the perpetrators of war crimes in the Gaza Strip. |
According to the international group Tasnim News Agency
, South African Foreign Minister Naldi Pandour shouted “Palestine must be free” at the welcoming ceremony of the Palestinian team in Cape Town (the second most populous city after the capital), “From the river to the sea, Palestine is free”.
By chanting these slogans, he declared his support and solidarity with the residents of the Gaza Strip in the Israeli regime’s destructive war against them.
During the attack of the Zionist regime on Gaza, more than 27,000 Palestinian citizens have been martyred and more than 66,000 people have been injured, most of whom are women and children.
According to Al-Quds al-Arabi newspaper, during this ceremony, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Africa stated: We are witnessing a genocide in Azza, where hundreds of Palestinians are killed every On the day they are killed, houses, hospitals and schools are destroyed, people are deprived of water and food, and the electricity is cut off there.
He stated: These issues caused South Africa to file a complaint against the Israeli regime to the International Criminal Court in The Hague. This complaint is a benchmark for measuring international justice and whether the Hague Court will take action to implement justice or not.
In line with South Africa’s complaint against the Zionist regime, the International Court of Justice announced: Israel must take “all necessary measures” to prevent actions that are considered examples of genocide.
This court did not issue an order to stop the military actions of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip.
The decision of the Hague Court has been widely welcomed by different countries of the world.
