This American official explained He said that Russia has not yet deployed this weapon and that Washington is now engaging directly with Moscow on this matter.
Kirby stated that Russia intends to use this weapon in space and claimed that Russia’s action is a violation of the “Outer Space Treaty” to which 130 countries including Russia have committed.
The statement of this spokesperson comes a few days after the head of the intelligence committee of the House of Representatives demanded to inform the Biden administration about a “serious threat to national security” without providing further explanation.
Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman of the Kremlin, rejected Washington’s claim and said that the statements of American officials are a conspiracy to approve the military aid budget of 60 billion dollars to Ukraine.
