Unsuccessful British missile test from a submarine

The British Navy's submarine-launched ballistic missile test failed.

According to Mehr News Agency According to Sputnik, the British Navy failed to successfully launch the Trident 2 intercontinental ballistic missile from the HMS Vanguard submarine.

This test was not successful, while according to the Sun newspaper, the British Defense Minister Grant Shapps was also present in this submarine. According to this report, the missile misfired strangely and fell in the water a few feet away from the submarine that launched it.

This report also states: The missile was launched into the air, but the boosters of the first round of the missile did not ignite, and this missile carrying fake warheads fell into the water and sank.

The missile separated from the submarine but landed right next to it, a source told The Sun newspaper. This newspaper reported that this incident happened on January 30 on the coast of Florida. According to this report, the investigation into the circumstances of this incident was started immediately and the parts of this top-secret missile technology were ordered to be discovered and returned from the seabed.

In a statement sent to The Sun, Britain’s Ministry of Defense said there had been an anomaly during the launch, but assured London’s nuclear deterrent would remain effective.
