A number of people were injured after more than 100 cars collided with each other on a highway in Suzhou, China. This accident occurred due to weather conditions and severe freezing of the highway asphalt.
Films on state television and social media showed many cars colliding on the highway due to a lack of control, with glass and metal shards scattered everywhere.
For the past few weeks, large parts of China have been affected by cold waves, storms and snow showers, while millions of people go on holiday to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
