Al-Baghdadi’s wife’s disclosure of the ISIS leader’s fear of drones and the influence of extremist thoughts on him

The first wife of former ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi revealed more secrets about his wife's life.

Asma Mohammad, the first wife of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the former leader of ISIS, said in the second part of a series of exclusive interviews with Al-Arabiya: The hardest moments of my life with Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi were when He forbade me to pray and condole for my father’s death; Because he was suspicious of his faith and religious beliefs.

He added: “I was shocked that he stopped me from praying and mourning for my late father.”

Asma Mohammad said that “his doubts brought me to the point where I also doubted my own faith”.

Asma said about the influence of extremist ideas on Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi: He was more inclined towards the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood and accused the Al-Nusra Front of “treason and disbelief” and Al-Qaeda of apostasy and misguidance.

Al-Baghdadi’s first wife said in this part of the exclusive interview about the daily life of the former leader of ISIS after delivering his famous sermon in the Mosul mosque and announcing the “Caliphate State” that he was not biased in using new tools such as computers, he reads books and laptops. He carried it with him, but he had forbidden the use of mobile phones at home due to security issues.

He added that his wife gave him only 100 dollars a month for family expenses when he was the leader of ISIS.

According to Asma, after being released from American prison in 2004 following the occupation of Iraq, al-Baghdadi suffered from mental and emotional problems and had a strong fear of drones.

Asma Mohammad also said about her son Huzaifa’s marriage: “Huzaifa’s marriage at the age of fifteen was ridiculous; Because at that time he was still a child, but he carried a gun with him.”

He also revealed that he opposed his son’s marriage to the daughter of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, one of the former leaders of al-Qaeda in Iraq, but in the end his son married his brother’s daughter Asma.

He also said that his son Huzaifah was killed, but he still does not know where his body was buried.

The first wife of the former leader of the ISIS terrorist group exposed the crimes of al-Baghdadi in her first public appearance in an interview with the Saudi network Hadath and Al-Arabiya.

Al-Baghdadi was killed in October 2019 during a US special operation in Idlib province, located in northwestern Syria.
