According to the Italian news agency AKI, Tajani said: The situation of civilians is as sad as the situation of prisoners (Zionists). Italy has accepted more than 100 children who arrived from the Gaza Strip for treatment. Rome is ready to welcome more children.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy expressed the hope that innocent people will stay out of this war because they have nothing to do with what is happening militarily.

Tajani said: We are talking with Arab countries and G7 countries to reach an agreement on stopping the war so that aid can be sent to civilians. We asked Israel to wait before attacking Rafah and we hope both sides will listen to messages that are based on logic.

Previously, the Italian foreign minister stressed that the Zionist regime made a mistake with high civilian casualties in Gaza. He called the regime’s actions against Palestinian civilians disproportionate. In this regard, Palestinian sources announced yesterday that the number of Palestinian martyrs has increased to 29,782 and the number of injured has reached 70,43.
