Yahya al-Sanwar: We are ready to fight in Rafah
An American newspaper has reported that the head of the Hamas movement in Gaza has emphasized his readiness to fight in Rafah in a conversation with the leaders of this movement abroad. |
An American newspaper, quoting informed sources, reported that Yahya Sanwar, head of the Hamas movement in Gaza, “is planning to drag Israel into the Rafah operation and will definitely win in the end.”
According to Sputnik, this newspaper emphasized in its report that Yahya Senwar sent a message to the leadership of the movement in Qatar, which stated: Israelis are present where we want.
This report, quoting people familiar with the meeting, which was held earlier this month, writes that senior Hamas leaders expressed concern about the defeat in the ground battle, but Yahya al-Sanwar had the opposite opinion.
This American newspaper added that Senwar said in this meeting: Don’t worry, the Israelis are where we want them and our fighters are in good condition.
According to this report, the head of Hamas in Gaza has also announced preparations for the battle in Rafah.
The Wall Street Journal also described Senwar’s strategy of leading the largest operation against Israel and then resisting the operation of the Zionist army as a “historic victory”.
