According to Reuters, this is the latest incident related to the mining industry in China, which occurred after the government took action to amend safety regulations in this area.

One of these incidents happened in a coal mine in Shanxi province, and as a result five people were killed and two were missing.
Also, seven people were killed and two were missing after an explosion caused by a gas leak in another mine in Anhui province in eastern China.
China witnessed a chain of deadly mining accidents in 2023, forcing the country’s mine safety organization to revise its laws.
