But after this was revealed, which angered the left-wing opposition, the Argentine president decided to fire the Minister of Labor, Omar Yassin, who was the “supervisor” of this wage increase.

Milli announced live on Monday in a television program that the minister has fired his job.

He said: “As we speak, the minister has been informed that he has been fired.”

The president of Argentina said about the salary increase: “The order that allowed the increase of the president’s salary is a mistake that should not have happened”.

Mili also announced that he has canceled this salary increase.

In February, thousands of people gathered in various cities in Argentina to demonstrate against the food emergency.

A study published in mid-February by the Social Debt Observatory of the Catholic University of Argentina (UCA) shows that 57 percent of the country’s population lives below the poverty line, which is the highest figure since the observatory was founded 22 years ago.
