President of Poland: NATO must give a bold answer to Russia

report Mehr News Agency quoted by Reuters, Polish President Andrzej Duda says that he plans to propose to NATO members to increase the defense budget allocated from the GDP to 3%.
Duda made these statements on the eve of his trip to Washington with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. According to him, the alliance with America is the cornerstone of Poland’s security.
On his return from Washington, Duda will visit the NATO headquarters in Brussels and during this visit, he will propose an increase in the defense budget.
He said about this issue: In the near future, I will present this proposal and share it with all NATO members in order to reach a consensus on increasing the defense budget from 2 to 3 percent of GDP should be decided.
Duda also emphasized the need for a strategic effort to improve NATO’s military capabilities and stated: No one dares to attack NATO and powerful countries, and no one dares to attack countries that They know how to defend themselves, they will not attack.
