Zionist air attack on the outskirts of Damascus

According to the Russian news agency Sputnik, the sound of several massive explosions was heard in Al-Qalamoun area located in the northern suburbs of Damascus.

Some sources announced the possibility of an air attack by the Zionist regime in this area.

In this regard, the official Syrian news agency (SANA) reported, quoting a military source of this country, that at around 42:42 on Sunday morning (local time), the Israeli enemy carried out an air attack from the side of the occupied Golan on targets in the southern region of Syria. .

This source added: The air defense of the Syrian army countered the enemy’s missiles and shot down a number of them.

In recent years, the Zionist regime has repeatedly attacked Damascus and various regions of Syria with air strikes, which have been repelled by the timely interception of Damascus air defenses in most cases. The Israeli regime’s airstrikes are happening while the Syrian government has repeatedly sent letters to the United Nations and the UN Security Council, condemning these attacks and asking them to stop.
