White House National Security Adviser John Kirby said on Sunday that the United States has concerns about some Israeli military operations.
He went on to say: “We will not approve any large-scale military operation in Rafah without a workable plan that guarantees the security of the 1.5 million refugees who are there.”
The National Security Adviser of the White House added: “We have concerns about some Israeli military operations and the quality of their conduct, and we need to ensure civilian support.”
Today, the United Nations Human Rights Office announced that since the beginning of the Gaza war, the occupying army has targeted people who were waiting to receive humanitarian aid 26 times.
This international body announced in its report that the said attacks started in the middle of January, and the last one happened on Thursday evening of last week in “Al-Quit” square in the southeast of Gaza City.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, 20 Palestinians were martyred and more than 150 others were injured in this attack.
The UN human rights office also said Thursday’s attack was the 10th in March.
But the deadliest attack dates back to the end of February, when an Israeli army tank opened fire on hundreds of people who were waiting to receive humanitarian aid in Gaza’s al-Nablesi square, and at the same time, Israeli soldiers opened fire.
