Al-Sisi: I asked the European authorities to try harder for an immediate ceasefire

report Mehr News Agency quoted by Al Jazeera, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said in a speech that he emphasized the necessity of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza in a conversation with the officials of European countries.
The President of Egypt continued: I asked the authorities of the European countries to do more to establish an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
Al-Sisi added: I agreed with the authorities of European countries regarding the opposition to Israel’s military operations in Rafah and the resettlement of Palestinians.
The President of Egypt continued: We must unify our message about the necessity of recognizing the state of Palestine and implementing a two-state solution.
Earlier, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi spoke about the country’s readiness to allow any amount of humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing.
Al-Sisi stressed: We are trying to bring the maximum amount of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. We warn against using food as a weapon against innocent civilians.
The President of Egypt said: 70% of the facilities and buildings in the Gaza Strip were destroyed during the war. The amounts and years needed to rebuild the Gaza Strip are terrifying.
He added: We will do our best to reach a ceasefire in this area to defend the people of Gaza, especially the innocent civilians and save them.
Al-Sisi announced: We are warning about the danger of an attack on the city of Rafah. IDPs located in the center and south of the Gaza Strip should be allowed to return to the north of this strip.
