The West’s attempt to teach democracy to other countries is ridiculous

The Secretary of the National Security Council of Russia, in response to the statements of Western officials and media about the results of the presidential elections of this country, declared that the West's attempt to teach democracy to other countries is very ridiculous.

reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Sputnik, “Nikolai Patrushev”, the secretary of the Russian National Security Council, in response to the statements of Western countries about the presidential elections of this country, declared that the West’s attempt to teach democracy to other countries is very ridiculous.

He also said: Anglo-Saxons will never accept real democracy and independence of countries. America and Britain are angry at the failure of their actions to weaken the situation in Russia.

Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, announced yesterday Monday that Moscow rejects the American assessment of the Russian presidential election and does not intend to pay attention to it. The spokesman of the Russian presidency said: Russia categorically rejects this assessment. Peskov recalled that “Vladimir Putin,” the president of Russia, told reporters late yesterday evening that such assessments were completely expected and predictable.

Pskov added: Actually, this country is fighting against us. Obviously, it is hard to expect other evaluations from it. I say once again: We strongly disagree with these assessments.

Earlier, an official of the US National Security Council announced to reporters that Washington considers the Russian presidential election to be unfree and unfair and strongly condemns.
