According to the Fars News Agency reporter in Dushanbe, Iran’s Ambassador Alireza Haghigian met with Tajikistan’s Minister of Transport Azim Ibrahim in Dushanbe and discussed the cooperation between the two countries in the field of transportation, transit, export Technical and engineering services and the implementation of documents and agreements made during the recent visit of the President of Iran to this country. and engineering, as well as the cooperation between the two countries in the field of dam and power plant construction and tunnel construction, emphasized the need to increase these interactions.
Tajikistan considered it important for this country’s access to open waters and international markets for exporting products and meeting import needs, and announced its country’s readiness to invest in Chabahar port in order to create the necessary facilities for the transit of goods from the territory of Iran.
Haqiqian also pointed to the policy of the 13th government to develop cooperation with neighbors and the agreements of the presidents of the two countries in the last two years, he considered it important to sign the memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of Iran. and emphasized on their implementation.
The ambassador of Iran, referring to the current process of developing relations in various fields, called the cancellation of visas important to facilitate the movement of the nationals of the two countries and from the extensive program of the embassy of our country. He announced to expand the cooperation between the two countries.
