In response to a question that if Pakistan is seeking to implement the pipeline, why has it not applied for an exemption from the US sanctions, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan clarified: The decision of the Pakistani government to advance the Iran-Pakistan pipeline is within the framework of a sovereign decision.
