Sheikh Naim Qassem: The interests of Palestine and Lebanon are tied to each other

Deputy Secretary General of Hezbollah of Lebanon, saying that the battle we are doing to support Gaza is also in the interest of Lebanon. He said: The interests of Palestine and Lebanon are tied to each other.

According to the report of Al-Nashrah today, Sheikh Naim Qassem stated: The battle we are fighting to support Gaza is also in the interest of Lebanon. Because it warns Israel that there is deterrence and resistance is present and ready, and the Zionist enemy cannot have the intention of attacking Lebanon. Our resistance in Lebanon is present and ready, and its presence and readiness is essential. Lebanon cannot be independent and stable without this resistance.

He raised the question, “When the Israeli regime entered Lebanon in 1982, its goal was to expel the Palestinians. Why did it stay in Lebanon for 18 years?”, adding: because it sought to establish settlements in the south of our country. He sought the settlement of Palestinians in these areas. His goal was the political government in Lebanon under his control, but the resistance prevented the success of his movements.

Sheikh Naeem Qassem stated: If it were not for this resistance and the weapon of resistance, there would be no possibility of deterrence against Israel. The interests of Palestine and Lebanon are tied to each other. The priority is to help Gaza, but is helping Gaza a separate issue from Lebanon? We are facing a developmentist enemy and it is better that this enemy is not left alone to implement his plans against us.

Deputy Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon said: We know what we are doing and everything is planned and calculated. We will not let the enemy know that we are lurking. The enemy is currently looking to expand attacks on civilians in Baalbek or Western Bekaa or any other place, and all these attacks will be responded to.

Sheikh Naeem reminded: One hour after the attack on Baalbek, the strategic centers of the Israeli enemy were targeted. No matter how much it costs and how difficult it is, we will not allow ourselves to be afraid. Attacks on civilians and any event that does not fit the nature of the current battle, we will react to it and we say to the Zionist enemy that we are ready and in the field. And we will not allow your violations to go unpunished.

Sheikh Naeem said: This confrontation we are doing is much cheaper than waiting for the enemy to attack us. This is a completely defensive action.
