Two Palestinian brothers aged 10 and 8 were martyred an hour apart due to food and medicine shortage.

Only an hour had passed since the burial of Sohail (10 years old) in the Gaza Strip before his brother Mohammad (8 years old) joined him.

When Yahya Haboush (33 years old) returned from burying Sohail in one of the cemeteries of the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip, to which he had to flee, he was immediately informed that his second son Muhammad also lost his life. given.

The bodies of these two children looked extremely weak until their bones protruded due to lack of food and lack of medical care, because they had cerebral palsy from birth.

These two children lived in a tent in Rafah, which lacks basic necessities. Due to the lack of food, water, medicine, health care and even public health as a result of the war, their situation had worsened.

Before burying his two children, Habboosh said goodbye to them while shedding tears, in the midst of the sad and oppressed atmosphere of losing his only two children. With the sadness of his two children, the father wrote in a post on his Facebook: “An hour after the burial of my son, Shahid Sohail, who was my soul, the second child of my heart, Muhammad, was martyred.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 27 Palestinians, including children, died due to malnutrition caused by the war of the Zionist regime in the strip where about 2.3 million Palestinians live and which has been under siege by this regime for 17 years. .

On March 16, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) announced that a third of children under the age of two in the northern Gaza Strip were suffering from acute malnutrition and warned that famine was imminent.
