He emphasized: Iran is ready to cooperate with Afghanistan in the construction and reconstruction projects of this country.
The deputy of the Iran Trade Development Organization said that the two countries used to have annual trade of 3 billion dollars, but the political instability of Afghanistan, the lack of infrastructure at the border crossings, and the unpreparedness of the customs have hindered the development of trade between the two countries.
Qanadzadeh stated that the Trade Development Organization of Iran is pursuing the signing of a preferential trade agreement with Afghanistan and the negotiations in this field are progressing.
He added: The list of desired goods of Iran and Afghanistan, especially in the agricultural sector, has been exchanged for further investigation.
