Arrest of 7,850 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem since October 7

The occupying elements of the Zionist regime arrested at least 25 Palestinians, including a child, and a number of former prisoners in the West Bank from yesterday evening to Thursday morning.

According to Al-Mayadin report, these arrests were mostly concentrated in Hebron province, but Ramallah, Tulkarm, Jenin, Salafit and occupied Quds provinces were also included.

Furthermore, the occupying forces continue to carry out widespread assaults and abuses, severe beatings, and threats against detainees and their families, and extensive vandalism and destruction of citizens’ homes.

Accordingly, the total number of people arrested after the Al-Aqsa storm operation on the 7th of October (16th of Mehr) has reached more than 7845 people, which includes those arrested from their homes, those arrested at checkpoints and military checkpoints, people who They have surrendered to the pressure and those who have been detained as hostages.

The occupiers also continue the crime of enforced disappearance of prisoners in the Gaza Strip and refuse to provide any information to human rights institutions, including competent international and Palestinian institutions, about their fate and place of detention.
