United Nations: More than 13,000 children were killed in the Gaza war

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) announced that more than 13,000 children were martyred in the Gaza war.

Quoted by al-Mayadeen, UNRWA agency in a statement criticizing the continuation of the war in Gaza announced that according to the UNICEF report, 13,750 children have been martyred so far as a result of the war in Gaza. have arrived.

UNRWA added that the authorities of the occupying regime are preventing the provision of vital aid to thousands of Palestinian refugees.

According to this report, preventing humanitarian aid from entering Gaza by the occupiers puts the humanitarian system in this war-torn zone at greater risk and leads to serious consequences at the levels of humanitarianism and human rights.

Palestinian resistance groups started the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation from Gaza (southern Palestine) against the positions of the Israeli regime on October 15, 2023, which finally ended on December 3, 1402 (November 24, 2023) after 45 days of fighting. A four-day temporary truce was established between Hamas and Israel for the exchange of prisoners.

This pause in the war continued for seven days and finally on the morning of Friday 10 Azar (December 1, 2023), the temporary ceasefire ended and the Israeli regime resumed attacks against Gaza.

In order to compensate for its defeat and to stop the resistance operations, this regime has closed the crossings of the Gaza Strip and is bombarding this area.
