The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office announced in a statement that Netanyahu told David Barnia and Ronen Barr, the heads of Mossad and Shabak, respectively, that they can talk to the officials of these two countries and to travel to Doha and Cairo after the resumption of ceasefire negotiations and exchange of prisoners.
According to this Zionist newspaper, Barnia and Bar will probably not be present in the negotiations, but they will join Mossad and Shabak officials in the Doha negotiations.
The Al Jazeera network had previously reported that Hamas has proposed to release 100 Zionist prisoners in the first phase in exchange for the permanent end of the war, the withdrawal of the Tel Aviv military and the return of the residents of Gaza to their homes. According to knowledgeable sources, Tel Aviv has opposed Hamas’ request to end the war and withdraw troops from Gaza.
